Emmaly

Emmaly Rogalski (she/her)

Emmaly Rogalski is an elementary educator with over twenty years of teaching experience in charter and private school settings and has a true passion for education. She is eager, fun-loving,  dependable, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure the success of her students.  She feels confident in providing a comprehensive curriculum and a fun classroom environment.  Hands-on manipulatives across subject areas, fostering independent learners, following the child in their educational journey, project-based learning, and character education are what she considers to be the critical pieces of any educational philosophy.

Emmaly graduated Magna Cum Laude from the  University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a double major in Elementary Education (concentration in Visual and  Performing Arts) and Psychology. She has held teaching certificates in NC, FL, and CA in General Subject K-6 education.  In addition, she has earned credentials in Montessori Education accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher  Education (MACTE) from the American Montessori Society in the education of 6-9 year olds and Montessori Live for 6-12 year olds. She has served as a mentor teacher in the classroom, a faculty member in two teacher training programs, and a faculty circle facilitator.

Emmaly is enthusiastic about education and the Montessori method. Her career has been devoted to the study and teaching of the method both to children and adults. This has been intertwined with her work integrating state standards and the Montessori curriculum. She has worked in two charter schools and has extensive experience with common core standards, state assessments, and how to address the needs of diverse learners. Her work in private Montessori and public education gives her a unique perspective and a holistic approach to education, pulling from the best of both worlds.

Emmaly loves to sing, dance, direct plays, and play games. She is an amateur gardener and loves sharing that hobby with her students. In her free time, she can be found traveling with her husband and daughter,  playing fetch with her dog, hiking, reading, or practicing yoga.
